"Iris is a name that works on two levels. First, there is the association between a camera and the human eye. The colorful iris can be a window into a person’s soul. On a second level, Iris was a messenger of the gods in Greek mythology. It was said that she would deliver her messages by flying down to Earth on a rainbow.
